We've been loading the boat with provisions, which means beer and few snacks to eat. The boats now sits pretty low in the water. Tomorrow we will add water to the tanks, and load the freezer. We're still on schedule to depart on Friday night at about 8PM. We'll leave at that time to get a jump on the trip, and to get ahead of the front that will hit us Saturday morning. The first part of our voyage over to Nassau looks a bit ugly, but the second half looks really nice. We made a reservation at the marina in Nassau, so there's not much else to do except get under way.
We plan to test out our wifi antenna if we're near shore, and maybe post something while on the trip. If not, then it will be in Nassau Harbor.

Welcome
We are preparing for our cruise of the Bahamas this Spring, beginning March 1st. Bill and a few friends, Drew, Tim and Matt will deliver TRIUMPH over to Nassau where Elaine will come aboard, and the guys will depart. We will also hook up with our friends Lori and Gord on their boat, "Awesome Asset", and we'll head out for the Exuma Islands in the Bahamas for two months. (adventuresofawesomeasset.blogspot.com/)
The countdown has begun, and we're now into the mode of "crossing things off of lists" as the date approaches. This weekend we'll begin to shop for provisions, and line up bill paying and communications while we're "over the horizon".
Pinch us !
